Default B2 rear DS upgrade?

I know I have seen it some place about a better rear driveshaft than this toothpick my 90 Bronco2 has in it stock.

Was it a Explorer shaft that would work in a B2 with a a4ld and a 7.5?

heavy duty shaft, you can buy them at any autoparts. Mine happens to be from Napa.

according to cheap thrillsb2 an explorer front shaft will work as a Bronco II rear drive shaft so long as you get the right hardware to adapt to the flanges. he says thats what hes running and he beats on his rig hard and has some serious lift. should do you good. you may want to talk to him for exact details.

take the front output from a 1354, bolt it in place of the rear output on the 1350....

take the ujoint flange and install on the other side of the explorer shaft.

I cannot not recall exactly the measurements....but it should be close enough to work.

up to 96 should work, as ford used the 1354 in the electric variety til then.

jontboudrie(sp) has a 96 X in the partout forum, and he's in Monroe to boot
