I just dawned on me that when the snow does start flying around here and I'm up all night long plowing I am really going to pay everyone back for the 2 and 3 am drunk calls.

And since I never did that, you might stop by and do my driveway?

call me devils advocate, ..i still enjoy getting out there with a shovel and pushing snow. enough that i do neighbors walks to......i enjoy it more now that i have spent five years down where there is no winter...(coastal georgia)

although we have an alley so i dont have long drives to push, just sidewalks...

guess one of these days i'll learn...

We have a small snow blower but I only clean the snow off our drive once or twice a year(if that). The rest of the time if it is real bad I just put the jeep in 4 wheel drive. The wife does the same.
But I still end up using the snow blower over at my mother in-laws when ever it snows. Have to keep her drive way clean so she does not slip and fall and break a hip.
And I still don't know way I end up over every time. I am not the only son in law. And the onther son in law lives a lttle closer.

my nextdoor neighbor does his whole drive way with one like that. he has the optional stand up hood, that cab like garbage bag to keep the wind & snow off you. he has to make 4 passes at around 1200 feet each, it does a nice job.

Ok, I wan't to show you my toy, but not to say you should have bought one like this, but to tell you what a piece of CRAP it is. I paid, $999.00 for it.

First year, electric start failed (200 warranty repair)
Second year, entire drive system failed ($1,200 Warranty repair. Company has already sent parts to the dealer)
Third year, one whole side of the drive wheels FELL OFF, and intermittent power Chute failures (Out of Warranty)
Fourth year (this year) Power chute doesn't work ($167.00 part)

However, when it does run, it can move some show fast!

I hate to brake the news to you but I think Cub Cadet and Yardman are both made by MTD ( made to die). The best blower on the market is Ariens. they know their stuff when it comes to snow blowers.

Snowblowers = waste of money.

its not a John Deere . We have a Jonh Deere 726 snowblower, i believe its older than i am, i think its from the 70's. Even as how old as it is it still runs perfectly even though i had to replace the auger bushing this year. Call me old fashioned but i will only buy John Deere products because of their durability.
