Default Ice Boats

My dad and i just picked up a Lockly 45 ice boat today, thought it sounded like fun. Got a Lockly 45 (http://www.sail4joy.com/id1.html) older one but looks almost the same as the new ones they sell. Just wondering if anyone had ever tried sailing one of these before? The guy we bought it from said he had it at 51mph on his gps.

Also does anyone know what they are worth? It looks just like the ones they sell now only with an aluminum seat rather then the trap. Boat was all there sail and rigging is in great shape, skis look good, just sharpened.

I'd like to try one. Seems like it'd be tough to find a frozen lake with no snow on it though.
