Did you make it up to our event?
Yes, I have a jeep but it isn't anything real special. Pretty much a stock 4.2L 89 wrangler with aftermarket rims and tires.

I really wanted to come but things came up and planning got a little screwed up. My wife had to plan the boyz birthday party for saturday. Otherwise we would have taken our jeep up from our cabin in Baldwin.

I think these are pretty minor and thought it was a well run and well behaved event for the number of people/vehicles there. I can't give all of you enough Kudo's for what you put together!!
How funny was that guy in the bronco with the ski rope attached. That was me in the pit hooking up. :) My pants & boots are still outside full of mud. :)

I was hooking in the mud pit then and I really wanted her to get in. :) Those suckers that came and helped took a good show away from us.

We started to enforce rules a little more this year and "rating" rigs. I think this helped with the flow of the event. I can say, it brought great joy to see the smiles and laughter on the faces of the people running through the stocker course. That is what this event is all about. Seeing the kids and parents just having a riot in there vehicle. We can now truely get all envolved from the hardcore wheeler to the daily grocery getter. :)

Again, the Chad's of the group have a few screws loose. Chad C with Chadville and the many cool rigs that he builds, CL1 w/ his sweet jeep and love for cutting down trees and helping make chadville what it was and is. And me, not being able to get away from the mud pit hooking and getting dirty. I guess I am a glutten for punishment.

Funny. They are sitting outside and I curse every time I walk by them. I knew I should have thrown the waders in the jeep. I thought I got lucky this year. SHHHH don't tell anyone, but I actually don't mind the mud run. One of these days I am actually going to have to take my jeep out on the course. By the end of the blessing, I was so tired, that I went home got out the new tractor and went to work.

Oh yeah, I bought a tractor with a FEL & tiller. I have tilled up a nice food plot already and moved a ton o dirt. Little thing is pretty snazzy.

later.
