Default FREE Yellow Lab

I have a male yellow lab puppy, he is about 6 months old. He needs a good home, found him tied up to a fire hydrant a few weeks ago and dont need any more pets...just taking care of him til we find him a loving home. Very well trained, knows most of the basic commands already. If you have any questions or want to know more email at zeckzer.amanda@yahoo.com...and i will get back to you. Pics will be up Asap!

did ya leave a note saying you took the dog maybe they just tied them up to run in a store or a house

or contancted the HS and tell them you found a dog and that maybe some one reported it stolen/lost

nope I would just ask if some one reported a missing yellow lab be suprised soem one might have seen it running down the road after it got lose from a little girl and they tied it to the hydrant so it wouldn't get hit, stranger things have happend

but the HS wont make you bring it in just want a phone # so they can call when some one reports it, I have found and returned may a dog to its owner that way

x2 about sounding like someone is missing their well trained dog ... they probably think it ran away or got stolen.

Have you checked with a local vet to see if the dog is microchipped? Most respectable breeders won't let any puppy go without one nowadays. Same goes with the rescues.

I wasn't directing that at you. Alot of people don't think or know to check for microchips.

when you "find" a medium sized dog (30-45lbs) let me know, I'll drive over from Iowa to pick it up. I'm sick of dealing with the yuppies here.

ok people yes i did check with the vet and no chip, not licensed or any sort of identification..and it was skin and bones..tied up with a rope with maybe 2 ft of room to move on by Division and 36th in Grand Rapids...and also bleeding..like he had been beat. (which i already suspect because he seems somewhat skiddish and if a voice is being raised he runs and hides while whimpering.

also got alot of ppl wanting the dog..still narrowing down who to give him to. he really needs a loving family..hes GREAT with kids! so that would be cool.
pics should be up tomorow.

Sorry to hear about the little guy getting mistreated . . . sounds about right for 36th and Division, unfortunately.

Too bad I'm out here now, I'd like a little guy like that. Sounds like you have it covered.
