Wrestled with this for a long time now, and just didn't want to put this much work into a 2 seater.

I'm planning now to put a scrambler together with a lot of similar work into it, just large enough to fit the boys...

You aren't scrapping this to spend more time on a TJ, right?

No, I built the TJ, its running, driving, and wheeling. But I'll be honest, its not for me, long term. The TJ will eventually be sold to pay for some of the big pieces on the new family Jeep.

So, the project will be switching gears, to this:

Scramblers are too hard to find, and overpriced. And fat in the ass. Instead, I chose to go with a CJ-6. I like the old snub-noses, wider windshields, and the overall rareness of CJ-6s.

So, as of today (changing on a daily basis), pretty much I'll just remove the body off the flattie project, modify the frame as needed, and drop on the CJ-6 body.

I *might* drop in a V8, and switch to a D44/9". Not sure though. Money is a consideration there, I have mostly done toy axles, several V6s with everything I need, etc. If I ran a V8, it'd be a new Gen III aluminum block, so probably $2500 to get it in there.

That CJ-6 looks cool, what shape are the floors in and did you get the wheels and tires with it?
PM me your price on the old complete body if it is not already spoken for.
