E4OD Shift help

have a 92 F250 with an E4OD, supposely rebuilt earlier this year. My 1-2 shift is pretty harsh. Almost like an aggressive shift kit was installed. Seems to hold 1st gear to long when driving through towns etc. I do not see any adjustments being no kickdown cables etc... the other shifts feel okay, just the 1-2 shift

anybody got any advise or thoughts?

You need to scan it, see if you can pull any codes. It could be a problem with the trans range switch (MLPS) or a bad rear wheel speed sensor, or a bad solenoid pack.

i haven't had a chance to bring it in yet, but i have a MLPS on its way from ford for $30.....I'll just throw it in and see what happens. The truck has 210K on it.

Also take a good look at the connector, make sure it isn't green either (they are notorious for that)
