Default Biggest Tires on a 93 Ranger also WTB

anyway I can figure out the biggest tires I can put on my truck without lifting the truck or anything. I currently have 225-70-14s on there. The rim is a 14" rim. I want some bigger tires but I want to make sure there also not gonna rub or anything. If you need more info on the truck let me know, Thanks

I had a ranger that sat like that and put 30x9.50-15 on it, though they were tight.

Would like some good winter tires, The truck is only 2WD so mud tires really wouldnt be necessary. I only have 14" rims.

I'd rather not cut into the fenders, Im actually thinking about getting rid of the truck here pretty quick, Which i'm gonna regret because I live right down the road from The Mounds I can literally see The Mounds from my backyard. but I got another project coming anyway. I just think im gonna get rid of my topper and have some money for some nicer tires. Them are little tires.

On the Gen III body style rangers (93-97) a 31" tire is about tops for a stock truck.

These are 31x10.50's on a 15" rim. Stock 2wd Gen III

Hope this helps!

That actually looks exactly what i'm looking for, What are them BF Goodrich's?, It looks like my truck would need a lift though or that bumper would need to be taken off though.

those might be tight but if you think you can do it do it. personally i would sudgest 30x9.5-15 or somthing close to that. thats what i had mounted on my 93 2wd mazda b3000 extended cab before the trans died. no rubbing no problems. BTW a mazda b3000 is a 3.0 ranger

Yeah I wish I has some with a bumper on it..

Actually, realizing mid post I may have... be back in a few minutes.

*edit:

I'm going to link this because the picture is huge

CLICKY

This is a '98, with allegedly 31x10.50 Pro Comp AT's, and what looks to be 2wd. The did change the suspension on the '98s but the body work stayed literally, virtually the same. The fender wells are the same, and the front bumper looks like it has the same clearance as the rest of the wheel well, so if it fits everywhere else, the bumper shouldn't be a problem. Having a Ranger yourself, you probably could just go out and look lol, but I found the pic for reference anyways.

*edit again: Yes, they look like BFG's to me as well. Or at the least a very close off-brand.

Yeah, I actually like the rims you actually got on that white ranger. Thats actually exactly what im looking for not to mention tire wise as well. I'm just looking to put some new tires on my truck and sell the truck because my house is out by the mounds so I will probably have my truck in the front yard get rid of it pretty fast.

I believe American Racing sells a rim very similar to that, I've also seen that exact rim in the LMC truck Catalog, in a 15x7 and a 15x8. Was a stock Ranger rim for a bit on the Gen II's I believe, or Explorers.. same thing basically.

I gotta stick with the stuff these guys are sending me for now, 200$ for rims and tires cant beat that. Don't got a job but I still make income but not very much so i'm kinda looking for something cheap to get around it for now. But thanks for helping me out.
