I was almost done but then all of a sudden the windshield, dash, and stock front of the cage fell out

If all goes well I'll have the add a cage in and painted this weekend. I still have to figure out how I want to do it but plan on busting ass friday/sat/sunday to get it finished up. We'll see how that goes.
After that, it's 7 bolts on a skid plate, 4 limit straps, 1 seat belt bolt, 1 windshield, install drive slugs, make spare driveshafts and I'm ready to go.

Cage fell back in today. Going to try to finish it tomorrow. I ended up getting it to work like Rich did for Collin's. Really happy with the turn out today!

I guess I didn't realize you didn't have a cage. Number 1 priority in my mind. Glad to see you got it in.

Ran out of paint and tube yesterday. I need to support the hoop I added to the C pillar still. Looks like I'll be going to the badlands without it "done". The support for the driver and passenger is in and the B and C hoops are tied together with runners. I need to tie A and C into the frame still. I'll get a couple pictures tonight. Started running exhaust..........that's going to be interesting.

Shifters, I was able to keep the center console.......cupholders, check

Cage stuff. Need to finish the back of the cage.......I'm fresh out of tube though Still need to tie it into the frame. Able to use the door surrounds and everything still. Top still goes on and retracts. Turned out pretty good........painting, not so much

Pretty good head room. Didn't want to have to pad everything

So the exhaust is ran(thrush glasspack ftmfl.....but it fit ), limit straps are on, drive flanges are in, seatbelts are tight. Just need to run 2 more spreaders for the rear of the cage, put radiator overflow catch can in, make a spare set of driveshafts, make some rear coil retainers, and tie the cage to the frame. I have to pack up spares, find a place to mount fire extinguisher and recovery stuff and I'm ready for the Badlands. Drove down the road going about 55 yesterday with no windshield.........it's fukcing cold out. I still can't believe how it went down the road. I think it's broke, rides too smooth. Better than my XJ ever did and that rode pretty damn good for what it was. I'm pretty happy about everything heep wise right now.

Took the heep for a ride with the front drive flanges in to see if I have too much front driveshaft wobble...........seems to be ok. Going to need to extend the exhaust dump past my Johnny Joint or I don't think it'll last too long. Front lower springs are too stiff. Good thing I don't have any $$ into them at this point. They're forcing the rear to do all the work. Limit straps in the rear work. Sorry for the tree crap, all I could find to drive up, parking brake works though Tree is on my parents property before anyone gets the wrong idea
About 4" of shock showing and it forced the rear to limit out............that's no good.

Limit strap is tight on the rear, other side is on the bump stop.

This is why it looks like I cut the rear too far at ride height, need the room when crossed up.

So I have more added to my list now..........crap.
