Got some work done tonight. Skid is ready to go on for the 2nd to last time hopefully. Have to check for front DS clearance at full droop still.

Fenders are ready to come off and get painted.

Was hoping to go pick up all my brake lines tomorrow morning then watch KOH in the afternoon but my vacation day got cancelled as of this morning. Nice I have to put D rings on the front bumper and support the grill hoop somehow still. A few more things to button up and I should be ready to go for a real ride.

I like the tube fender coming back to protect your cowl. How are you tieing it in?

I'm still trying to figure out how to put a couple button head bolts into the tube without creating a catch point. I plan to put a couple riv-nuts per side to hold the tube piece to the body. I'm hoping the surface area will take the impact and the rivnuts will keep it from bending. I have to take a good look at that yet. There's a body seam there also so that adds to the complication.

Wait........there are holes? I put the 4 holes right inline with the bolts holding the fenders on.

i like the fenders. the bar you have running back to protect your cowl is a great idea .but you need to put something behind it or it will bend into the cowl..ask me how i know.mine are like that and both sides are bent in.
