I admit it

For the record, it got me everything on this rig minus a fuel cell ring and gearsets

Thanks. I think the rims were buy it now of $400 and $100 to ship them. I thought that was a decent price. I have something up my sleeve for them too but I want to finish the jeep before I switch focus to the rims

Little more finished. CTF250 came over today and helped me get the drivetrain pulled. Did little stuff like reinforcing motor mounts. Added gussets. Finished reinforcing the inside of the frame from the accident. I had to make a list to keep my ADD at bay. I spend way too much time trying to figure out what to work on. Oh yeah, I know the motor mount is crooked I put it there well enough not to want to straighten it out

If you don't mind me asking, what all did you have to do to modify the AX-15?

Thanks,

The 4 bottom holes line up, the 2 top do not so you have to slot the holes in the transmission to get the last 2 bolts into the clocking ring. A flipped D300 is a royal pain in the butt when trying to keep a flat belly fwiw. I still have to get shifters figured out and I know it's going to leak around the shift rails. Pwilson22000 almost has my 14B done and he'll start on the D60 final assembly this week yet. S.Hembree stopped by friday night and helped me make a semi final list of stuff needed to get it rolling. Those 2 along with CTB2 have been a huge help throughout this build. Thanks guys

Pwilson22000 dropped off axles saturday morning and has the 14B complete minus brake lines, the 60 needs to be assembled still(paint first). Wire wheeled axles and painted all day saturday. Control arms and such made it through friday night without incident, the D60 parts on saturday did not My paint booth blew over with all my D60 parts hanging from it. Little dirt never hurt anything

Also cut tail light holes into corner guards saturday while paint was drying/parts falling on the ground. Do yourself a favor and borrow a plasma cutter, what a waste of time! I got them in but will never do that again without the right tools. All well, still making progress a little at a time

Corner guards are painted and installed.
D300 shifter linkage built. Still need to make the shifters. I have to trim some offwhere the black lines are but I'm going to put it back in and figure out if it's going to interfere with the flat belly. Going to put the engine back in, put the axles back in and set it down this weekend if all works out.
