Default welder help please.

i picked this up for $100 today. to run flux core wire he said i had to reverse the polarity. does this sound right ? i don't have the $ to get the regulater and bottle right now but i want to play with it he said he thinks i take the bottem white and switch it with the black one (ground clamp) it just doesn't seem right to me.

It appears to be if you want to switch polarity you would switch the top white wire connector and move it to the bottom lug and take you ground wire and move it to the very top lug. The wire lug in the middle just goes to the gun.
