Nice. Need more garage shots. Seen an intriguing cab in there.

I'm assuming that's the cab to it on the floor next to the front end?

I will be using a 3/4 ton Chevy chassis, equipped with an SM465 trans and NP205 T-case.

Had a chance to work on this project over the holidays.

The goal, at this point, is to get it running and driving without spending much money. I’m trying to use scrap steel and leftover parts from other projects.

The chassis is a ’74 chevy ¾ ton, with D44 front, 14 bolt rear, SM465 trans, and 205 T-case. I fired up the engine that came with it, and noticed that there was a lot of popping thru the carb. The engine is going to be replaced with an engine I had years ago for another project that didn’t get used.

The engine, trans, and t-case are moved back 10 ½”

The cab is mounted.

A Chevy truck steering column is installed, along with the pedal assembly. I couldn’t find a clutch pedal, so I made one.

The battery tray is made up with leftover 1 ½” aluminum angle.

Yes, I'm not sure if that axle will end up under the Willys or not. I bought it for the crawler when/if I rebuild it.
