Default 100 illegals arrested

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051118/...llegal_workers

Do Liberals favor the unions or the illegals taking their jobs?

Also, I resent the "extra" comment added by the reporter to the sherrif's quote about Union jobs. Shows the reporter has no problem slanting an article.

The reason the reporter added the comment was because later in the quote the Sheriff did state "creating unemployment because our skilled tradesmen are out of work". It's called clarifying a point made in a quote. It's not "slanting" the article.

It sounds like the union did in fact bitch and I would not doubt that since the workers appeared to be Mexican, INS was called by the union to investigate. Pisses me off that people get so upset about "illegals" coming here and "taking our jobs" when the reason they're available is the cost of the job was driven out of the proper cost bracket. most illegals I have worked with in the past are hard working honest people just trying to put food ont he table for their families.

Believe it or not most unions outside of Michigan hate the UAW and everything it has become and brought upon their name.

What is funny is how Walmart doesn't learn from it's own mistakes.
