Default 200,000 BTU Reddy Heater (torpedo) Diesel/Kero/Jet Fuel *sold*

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XW0C1M?...0&linkCode=asn

Looks brand new. Has two wheels, and handle, easy to move. Waterproof (I never got it wet). Has built in adjustable thermostat. Kept my 40'x30' barn 40 degrees warmer then outside. Huge tank. Works perfect. ONLY selling because I switched to natural gas heat in the barn. I always ran diesel through it (no kerosene locally) and never had a problem with fumes.

$340 obo

Runs 11 hours on 13 gallon tank.

Will meet anywhere in oakland county

Kerosene 200,000 BTU Heater

Kerosene heaters are used in outdoor applications (brick and block laying, building construction) to keep workers comfortable and to prevent newly-applied concrete from freezing. Since their fuel source is self-contained, they’re truly portable—wheels and handles are included. Kerosene heaters aren’t affected by fluctuations in temperature. They provide instant, safe, portable heating at temperatures as low as minus 20º F. The fuel system. An air pump forces compressed air through a hose and a burner nozzle, creating a vacuum and causing fuel to rise from the tank. The air and fuel mix to create a fine mist that’s sprayed into the combustion chamber. The ignition/control system. The igniter mechanism provides a spark that ignites the air-fuel mist inside the combustion chamber. The safety control system automatically shuts down the unit in the event of loss of flame or lack of fuel. The air system. An electric motor turns a fan that pushes air into and around the combustion chamber, heating it and propelling it out the barrel and into the surrounding environment.

I went through 100-120 gallons of diesel last winter with it in an enclosed barn. Like I said above, no fumes/

FWIW, my parents used the same style heater when we built their house. Kept us warm in the winter and didn't stink us out.

Just realized my heater is the "pro" version, 200,000 BTU's instead of 170,000!

This is some serious heat!
