Question 85 f350 Crewcab 4x4 Diesil ** SOLD on 1-2-09 **

Deposit taken on 12/17/08 SOLD ON 1-2-09

I'm thinking about selling off my latest project..

It's an 85 Crewcab 4x4 with the 6.9 L diesil and automatic trans.(which most likely has been overhauled since there are couplers on the tranny lines and the converter is not stock )

Odometer reads 115,000 and I dont doubt it, It runs great and the body is solid for it's age.

I just replaced on or around 11/01/08 all of the following parts to get it winter ready.

* New master Cyclinder and brake lines down to the dist block. ( others have already been done and looked very clean)

* Front calipers and pads. Wheel bearing were repacked also.

* Rear wheel cyclinders / Axle seals , break shoes & hardware.

* Rear axle brake lines also.

* New Moog steering components...the entire thing..from pitman to tierod ends.
( approx $350 woth of Moog steering parts )

* New TRW balljoints ( uppers and lowers )

* As well as new v-belts , wiper blades and fresh oil change in the pan & t-case & both diffs.

* Truck does have fresh paint ( still has originall rocker panles and I did repair a cab corner and 2 door bottoms -from rust )

* Also has clean rims and like new 33" Micky Radial Baha Claws. ( 305 / 70 / 16 ) 5 tires and 4 aluminum rims with spiar on a stock rim.

I was thinking how rare 85 crews are hear in MI ,
so I'll start the price at $2,800 with the aftermarket tires , wheels, with uninstalled 6" lift, and 7' 6" plow .

And dont worrie....I have a nice rear bumper / tailights and the chrome mirrors will all be on within a few days...

I also have 2 spair front doors of a 94 with the power options that are mint condition

** I'm just wondering if anybody wants this...before I put a snow plow on it..**
*** Details about snow plow hear *** http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=107180

So what do you guys think ?
Honest opinions are ok..I have thick skin and a great sense of humer

Not really looking for an off road truck. Thanks for the offer though.

No..It's the TTB front axle..I think they called it the dana 50 ? I know it has 60 outer joints -but I believe it still uses a 44 center cection or something goofy like that...

But the balljoints are new, and so is the steering stuff...and u-joints are in great shape.

Feel free to pm me pics and description of your trade , and I'll certainly consider it. If it's the right truck/Bazer for me...I am kinda a ford man though.

I sent you a pm...about the lift.

Truck is still available, and I'm not sure if I am going to put a plow on it.

Making it a plow truck would be such a waist of a clean 85...but I might, I'll know buy thursday if I score the plow I want.

Heres some pics. If you got any questions about any part of it let me know. I will do my best to give you a good description of what it looks like. Like i said i do have a lighted moon visor for it if you like them. So far in the service records i have found new fuel tanks, oil pan, trans parts, muliple u-joints and fuel system flushes. New shft linkage and cables. New exhaust studs in the heads. I could go on if you like. Engine flush and oil changes. New wiring harness from firewall back. There is more also. Also has heavy rear bumper and hitch. I trimmed the front bumper to look better. It has about 10,000 miles on it since its last dealer service and i have put about 6,000 on it since i have owned it.
