Default looking for plow truck (found)

i am looking for an OLD plow truck....

just to do my driveway, wont be plated for the road....dont care about the body, just needs to run and work, the cheaper the better....

i was thinking an old 70's or 80's chevy truck or blazer or jeep...but might consider anything with a working plow for the right price....

understand i want cheap truck, please dont show me a $3500 99 ford f150 like i found on craigslist, that is not what i am looking for

I found an old 76 j10 with a plow for $1000...but i was too slow, and somone else picked it up.....................

what you got?

I have a 79 J20 with a good western plow. It has a 360 with automatic and quadratrac. I just redid the brakes last year with all new stainless brakelines. It has a new edelbrock carb and I upgraded the ignition to tfi. It starts and runs great everytime. The plow has been sandblasted and repainted and works good.

The body is pretty rusty but the floor boards have been replaced. The doors and tailgate have been swapped with another truck and are in good condition (however they are a different color.) It has an aluminum topper on it as well.

I drive it on the roads here locally but I would recommend a trailer for a trip up north.

I have been using this to plow for the last couple of years but am downsizing my Jeep population and have bought a new plow for my Dodge 3/4 ton.

I'd like to get $1500 for it. (I was going to part it out and keep the axles for one of my FSJs but thats a project in the future.)

Interested?
