Default President George W. Bush

Just wondering why some of you agree/like or disagree/dislike George W. Bush. Please if you would post facts that support you opinion rather than just opinions alone.

I like G-Dub.
I had a cut and pasted list of his achievments. A bunch happened on his watch.
He took the heat and never fired back.

Not that I agree with him 100%, but I think that he has become the scapegoat for a lot of issues that he had no control over.

Not the best president, but the media has made him out to be worse then he is.

why people insist on us sucking the international dick to make decisions is beyond me. saddam was a problem and was going to continue to be a problem if not dealt with. bush gave me a tax break that increased my income so I could buy a house. my work field business was great was working 50+ hours a week, I got more raises during bush than any other administration. Bush gave america some testicles, took the shit and just pushed forward.

funny thing is, I remember how bush said after 9/11 that this was going to take a very long time. nobody cared then. but then they went back to complacency.

sure bush isn't the prostate massaging hooker like the O but I guess people just want someone who makes them feel warm and fuzzy instead of actually being a leader

I don't like that he denied the pending recession for so long. Effective leaders read road-signs and take action before it's too late.

How many times did we bail france and europe out last century?
It's never been like we were "America the conquerers". Even after we bombed Iraq into the stone age, we brought them back into the Bronze age before leaving.
We'll be back in europe in ten years, it's time.

I beleive GWB is a true patriot. granted, not everything went well for him and some of his policies but at the end of the day he truly believes that the decisions he made at that time were in americas best interest. some worked some didn't, he takes alot of crap from the main stream media and keeps on plugging away. I admire the guy for making decisions and standing by them because he felt they were right, that takes balls in todays society. the easy way out is to fold on your values and not stand up for anything you believe in.....not the case with GWB. Like i said not eveything was right but i admire the intent.

GW, did everything he should have. He cleaned up quite a bit after Clinton, and brought the country out of a recession. 9-11, he handled himself well, and the country backed him from the beginning. The war, even Clinton knew Iraq had WMD's, so us going in there was not avoidable. Now with what is still going on over there, we need to finish what we started. Like was mentioned above, the media was retarded about his entire presidency, and he stuck to his guns, with the media and the in congress against him.
