Default Getting Popped . . .

You know what I mean.

I sure hope he doesn't. This nation needs to learn a very hard lesson. Four years of the up coming hell will do this country more good then anything else. I can't wait to see unemployment rise, civil unrest, possible riots and all the rest that comes with a leader/President with no experience.

God Bless you all and God Speed to the year 2012!

good point, ill be home in december, im going to drink micro brew, and have all my savings delivered in nickels. then ill lay around in my money drinking beer. i will slowly sink to the bottom of the room full of nickels, but ill be fine because the government will come and take away half of it, saving my life in the process. then ill have to switch to pbr.

I have to agree, If someone did take him out it would be really bad, They would all start some serious riots and it would get bad quick.

I am looking forward to hopefully being able to work a whole year without collecting any unemployment. Historically there has been a boom in employment in my field while a democrat is in the white house.

I thought you were a liberal douche? Now you have no faith in your messiah? Or do you just take the opposite side of everything?

No, I still believe in the democratic way but I believe that those ways should have stops on them and not be used as free money.

I also believe that people should have experience. I'm actually trying to get the CEO position at my place of employment since I have been on the job longer then what it took for Obama to become president.

I then realized I was white and gave up pretty quickly. On the flip side if it was Biden running I would have voted for him and would have been content with either Biden or Johny boy at the helm of our country.

Can you do me a favor and tell me the next mega-millions winning combo? I mean... if all of the sudden you can tell the future, that would be great. I'll just be another guy around to spread the wealth.

Unemployement rising, bad morale, jobs leaving the country, mortgage industry going to hell... SURELY these are things that can't happen while a Republican is in office.

I'm really getting sick and tired of the same people on this board making the same horrible "slippery slope" assumptions about what's going to happen in the next four years. You have no clue, nor does anyone else at this point. From what the "liberal media" was saying last night, the rest of the world seems to be pretty happy with the choice that the country made. You might say that America was ignorant and "drank the kool-aid" of Obama, but what about the rest of the world? Either he's got the wool pulled down over everyone's eyes pretty tightly, or maybe your tinfoil hats are just getting in the way of logical and reasonable thinking.

As I said from the get-go, change (I really wish he wouldn't have campaigned on that word, because it's so nice to use in a non-partisan statement) can only occur when it's forced. "An object in motion, when free of outside influence, will remain in motion"; applies to more than just physics. Our government is at a stalemate right now, as the Republican presidency tries to battle the Democrat controlled congress. That object is going nowhere. With the change in control of the presidency, hopefully the country at least heads SOMEWHERE. The wrong direction is still a direction, as opposed to the lack of movement we have now.

Cliff's notes; Stop crying... you have NO IDEA and won't until 2012.
