Frame Rust

Does anybody know how to properly remove frame rust and/or strengthening the frame. I have recently recieved a 1995 Ford F-150 and i dont want to screw anything up. And does anybody know any good paint for repainting the frame?

chassis saver i would recommend to paint over the frame, its made to paint right over the rust and seals the metal for life.

i personally would not use herculiner, unless you want your frame to always be dirty. Herculiner in my experience holds dirt and doesnt let go easily.

Sandblasting is the best. I've had great luck with Rust Bullet but its pricey...

That paint is awesome! I used it on my YJ when I tore it down to bare frame. That was 2 years ago and its still there!! I have noticed it to fade a bit to a gray, but looks better than rust!! I've taken a hammer to the frame and have whacked it hard, paint doesn't chip off.
