I haven't updated in awhile, can't wait for the freakin snow to melt so I can get started. I've been accumulating parts for awhile

Got a chevy D60 front and D70 rear with 4.56s, corbeau seats, H1 wheels, 42x15 PBRs and a Jeds machining doubler setup..still need to order high steer arms, tube ends and alla that stuff but its starting to come together parts wise anyway

Shitty iphone pics, I'm hoping my perches and other misc stuff shows up from ruffstuff so I can wheel it out of the garage
High steer arms are now mounted and I'm working on doing something creative for the ram mount

i would love to get a j20 one day. you should make a flat bed with a head ache rack on it the put the spare in the front of it so it still has that truck look to it.

I hate flat beds

If I did anything I would shorten up a j-truck box and put the bed sides on it, problem is that finding a j-truck box that isn't rotted beyond belief is hard to find in the Mitten

Sweet truck, definitely like the bed. How come the switch to the huge old dinosaur of a rear end.

#1 is factory 4.56s gears, removable 3rd member, got it from a junkyard for 125 bux.

#2 waaaay better clearance than the D70HD I had originally intended on using

#3 much narrower than the D70HD. I had to run 2" wheel spacers to get the WMS to match up to my front, whereas my D70HD was from a dually and was way too wide anyway

#4 beefy ass ring gear, 1.5" 17 spline axle shafts. You can run 14B spiders and upgrade to 30 spline 14B shafts if need be as well.

Thanks

updates:

Bed is now 40% mounted, waiting on the plasma to notch some steel and finish welding

Doubler is now assembled, going to cut a hole in the floor and cut a floor out of another FSJ and overlap the pieces and sheet metal screw it in. The doubler is just too god damn heavy/dangerous to install without a lift + trans jack.

Shifters need to be fabbed.

Brake lines still need to be run, bled

Hydroboost still needs to be mounted/plumbed.

Redneck ram (2") still needs to be mounted.

PS box needs to be drilled/tapped.

Hysteer needs to be completed.

Gauges and interior need to be finished.

Rear shocks need to be mounted.

Rear axle needs to be in its final position and perches fully welded.

Driveshafts need to be purchased and cut down.

For driveshafts I'm going with 1350 CVs front and rear out of a ford super duty. With 1410s already on the axle end its a no brainer and they are only $75 from the yard. Got drivetrain specialties flanges for the 205 to match them already.
