Sloppy Steering wheel

Hello
I have a 94 Explorer with a 3" body lift.
I know that the steering is gonna be sloppy, and ive had the lift on for a year now, seems like the steering is getting sloppier...the alignment is great but the steering wheel has alot of slop...is there any way to tighten it up between the box and the wheel...thats the only spot that has alot of slop...
Thanks

ford's gear boxes tend to get pretty sloppy as they age from my experience with them. my dad has a dually and it has tons of slop in it and my bronco and old explorer were pretty sloppy
