Well - I made it home. It's a little shorter through the UP. The round trip came out to 1000 miles (I almost had some venison on 2) . It was worth the drive though. Had a great time. All 3 runs I got to go on were outstanding. Thanks for the hospitality demonstrated by all. I would like to say I'll be back next year, but I will be drinking Guinness on a nice 70 degree afternoon in AZ the day you are out. I would need a couple extra gas cards to make that round trip. Jim, thanks for the hat. It's going to be sub-zero here for a few days so I'll show it off. 3 important questions - Jason, did you puke? Did you send your new girlfriend a thank you card? Jeff, did you crash my Jeep? Hey Deputy Dog - I hope you like the shirt. It was too big for me.

That's because he went to bed so early! Or should I say passed out so early. I am too old to hang out with you guys. It was a rough morning. I made it to the UP before I had to crash for awhile.

Default Help with Pic's from Edge of the World

Thanks to all who were on my run on Saturday with Gunnar and Joachim from the Sweden 4WD Magazine. I'm sure we'll get some great coverage in their magazine and the writers had a great time with all of you.
If anyone has some good pictures of the first hill on Edge of the World with the vehicles sliding sidewys I would like to use them in an upcoming artice I'm writing for the Boondocker and the Voice.
Please send links or .jpg's to kb8ymf@juno.com. Now's your chance to become famous!!!
Thanks again.

Who had the smallest rig? From the looks of the pictures I've seen so far it looks like everybody is running 35's or larger tires. Any stockers make the run?

The run I was on had mostly everybody on 35s. There was one set of 34s and two sets of 32s though.

I looked through all my pics and most kind of suck though. Being at the back of the line left me out of place for good trail busting action photos. I will post some tonight though.

Think Matts Tracker/Sidekick had the smallest, till he took it in the nose from a stick and retired to the trailer. Probably 29's but will let him own up.

he was keeping right up with us on that night run.. I don't think we ever had to strap him out.. It's a shame he took that tree through the radiator.
