If I remember correctly you didn't make it around the dunes or two tracks with an overbuilt rig and not break it ......and I did finally scatter the T case after 16 years .

You'll have your revenge if I get it put back together for SnoFari, the 5 is a nightmare to drive in the snow

What I actually had was a failed fuel pump. That hardly relates to an overbuilt rig. But....... it does make my point. I found a problem area that needed to be upgraded. Since then, no more fuel pump issues thanks to Scott Tomlinson.

Breaking means tellin the wife your fixing the rig, and not mentioning the major upgrade

my jeep gets more capable after every break.

Exactly.... syncros are going in my transmission, so I found a replacement one and since I'm under there why not swap in a Stak 3 speed mini monster box.....The t/case was going to break sooner than later anyway...right

Shouldn't it be on the rig, or does he plan to spend THAT much time on the trailer???

Awesome!

You can get an ORV sticker at the wal-mart which is right next to the hotel you will be staying at in West branch. I believe they're $16.00

Any place that sells hunting & fishing licenses, Meijer, potentially Walmart right down the street from the hotel.

You will only need an ORV sticker if you are going on a run that goes into the St Helen Motorsport Park. Any other run does not require an ORV sticker. I hate to see you waste the money on a sticker if you don't need it. So, if you arrive Friday evening early enough you will be able to figure out if you need the sticker or not. I realize when you are traveling that far that the $16 probably isn't a deal breaker but just trying to help you out.

Thanks. I may just buy one to be safe. Besides, the money theoretically goes back into trails etc. I'll be getting to Royal Oak on Monday PM after I drop my Jeep/trailer off at 2Track. I am going up to West Branch on Thursday night. Hoping to hook up with someone who might be wheeling on Friday AM. bdavid, follow this link to my vehicle: http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthr...ight=2tm+build Mine will look a little funny though. I have a wobble at 50 - 55 mph. Jason/Jeff think it's the tires, 37" Radial Iroks on cheap steel rims with some Inner Air Locks http://www.innerairlock.com/ installed. There are a lot of weights on the inside of my rims. I am putting 37" KM2's on 17" AEV Pintler Beadlock wheels in the front. The backs will have to wait as I am out of money for the moment. Wife found a copy of the original bill from 2Track!

I will be staying at the Quality Inn. If we can, I would like to go out Friday AM and PM. As long as I am coming over, I want to try and get as much wheeling in as possible. Where will you be?

I should also be there around noon. Want to get out and poke my nose into a few trails early. Any affiliation with RPM4X4 out of Wisconsin? Mike Hagen, Zeb Holder? Or Rod and Luana Schneider?

No affiliation with RPM. I belong to Legendary CJ's - members are spread out around the state and Northern IL. Let me know where to meet you. I can be there by noon. 920-915-7992.

Just keep an eye out for the red truck in the avatar. I'm in the hotel out back. Shouldn't be hard to spot. Plan on doing a night run also if there's interest.

We're going out thursday night, so if you want to join us, you can.

Depending on what we find thursday, and snow depths, we may or may not go out friday.. Trying to preserve the trails for the event, and not packing them down.

I won't know when I am going up till probably Tuesday. I need to see what business stuff has happened over the past 2 weeks that I've been off. If nothing big is happening I expect to be up Friday morning in time for a daytime run.

I was up there this past weekend and just put my spool in the rear. It's great!

Anyway, I played in the woods at the farm and the snow isn't really that deep right now. Maybe 10 or so inches. However, there is some storm coming in Wed. or Thursday I guess. The news guy said it could deliver anywhere from 3 to 14 inches depending on what happens over the next couple days. Keep your fingers crossed.

Oh, and I did manage to already get stuck! lol
