Going to do a EGR / EGR Cooler delete, DPF Delete and add a on-demand tuner (probably a H&S Mini Maxx).

Should get me a few more MPG as well as stop putting all the soot and crap back through the engine.

Nice! That's what sucks about newer diesel, is how much money you spend just to get rid of emissions crap!

Yup! Removing the EGR stuff is easy and you can make your own kit on the cheap... And you get most of the benefit by just taking that out (I have heard that people typically see a 2+ MPG gain by just taking that out).

But to keep it from coming up with Check Engine Light you need a tuner to program it from coming on.

Finally been towing with the new tow rig. This is the second time out towing with it. Broke it in a couple weekends towing the Jeep to Silver Lake. The 403hp 6.2L hands down beats my old 2500HD with the 6.0L.

Nice setup what you getting for mileage ? I have the 5.3 and hate the up and down shifting on hills.

I'm calculating about 16 overall between city and highway. Straight up highway driving I've gotten close to 18 mpg. Last time I towed I got about 10 mpg. To me it's an improvement from the 11mpg I got with my old 2500HD with the 6.0l.

This was a texas truck (I flew down there to pick it up)... can't find a spot of rust.

The truck computer said that we averaged 20.2 MPG for the 1400 mile trip home.... And thats bone stock.

Sweet Rob, I was wondering if you got rid of the old dodge or fixed it. Haven't seen anything parked at your house. Congrats on the Dually, that should handle your toy hauler with no problems.

Don't let the computer fool you. Mine says 21 and hand calculated it is about 16...

Nice truck! Have you noticed any difference in pulling power, ride, or mileage with the slightly bigger 275/65 tire? I want to do the same thing the next time i need tires.

Awesome truck! I always wondered about those 6.2l for a truck!
Impressive that you prefer your half ton over the old 3/4 ton!
