Thanks. I actually have a 2" coil spacer sitting on a shelf in the garage, but my trailer has a lot of tongue weight...so I don't want to have the truck looking like a dog scratching its ass going down the highway. With the trailer fully loaded and the WD hitch hooked up...the truck sits perfectly level. If I threw the spaces on the front, it would have the horrible Cali droop look....which I don't want.

I need to do that too, the Excursion does great with a single, but the double makes her look like a Pontiac thug.

Best we had towing was 7-9 MPGs with an aluminum trailer..

I'm pretty happy with it so far. 5.3 isn't bad on gas at around 15mpg around town and on the highway i've gotten around 17mpg unloaded. I towed my YJ over to Twin Lake, MI about 3 weeks ago and averaged 14.5mpg on the way. Granted my YJ doesn't have a drivetrain in it at the moment, but it's not the most areo-dynamic thing with no front clip on it, 6" of lift and 35" KM2's and my car trailer isn't light with being a full steel deck. Each to their own, this suits my needs and I'm happy with it.

Looks like I'm joining the Excursion club...

Picked it up yesterday and couldn't be happier. 2003 Eddie Bauer Edition with the V10. I guess I could be happier if it were the 7.3 but for the price I'm not complaining. Just need to find a trailer and finish the Jeep now.

Thanks! I was thinking about going with 37's but wasn't sure if they would clear. When I talked to BDS they said I could only run 325's/35's no matter what size rim .

Unfortunately I only have the 3.73 gears in mine. I would rather have the 4.30s but not going to pay to upgrade them anytime soon. The Jeep needs too much money spent on it to finish it. I'll see how it tows then eventually think about it.
