Default Is now the time to buy into the stock market?

If you've been in, well, I'm sorry.
But if you haven't, is now the time to buy good stocks cheap?

Obama bought and paid for the presidency, the Dems are lined up to spend and fund. It's gonna come back!!

If McCain pulls a comeback, it is a real market, and still a good risk.

Ford and GM because the government will loan them bux Fail and Fail. These two stocks are going nowhere anytime soon. They will track the market, but not exceed it IMO.

GM made a bold move to dump light truck and SUV to go electric. If they are willing to take that gamble the Obamanation will likely jump on.
Ford was a spin of the roulette wheel.

Agreed. There is still tax loss selling to endure. Plus, if Osamabama gets elected, capital gains tax rates will most likely increase next year by 5% at least. That could entice a lot of people to sell stock by the end of this year to avoid the extra tax rate hit. We haven't seen the bottom yet.

Going to wait until after the new year to get back in. This is going to be a rough holiday season for everyone and the market will reflect that in a few months. After that I will think about putting our money back in.

I heard it said today "if Obama gets elected his tax program will kill the stock market, because the big players don't want to take all the risk to give half of the rewards away".
May as well sit on a safe pile of cash in Belize for four years.

yet nobody seems to understand this. the result of them not investing the money is that he will have to increase taxes extremely high to even come close to fulfilling any campaign promise. I would take the 50% hit on my 401k rather than have that bastard take it.

Did you hear about the plan to do away with 401(k)?
