22 rifle (not carbine). There is more .22 cal ammo in the world than all others combined. Put a good scope on a 22 and kill 12 gauge shotgunners all day long before you are even in their range.

ar 15/ak/12 ga for defense use, 22lr for putting food on the table. the 22lr argument for defense is stupid, it just doesnt have the stopping power. all the amo in the world will do you no good if you cant kill your enemy before he kills you.

but if you can survive a couple of months, 99% of enemies will be eating dog food, and trying to kill shit with rocks.

Star Wars Blaster...no ammo required.

Probably a 12 Gauge...you have the ability to use slugs and shot.

12ga ammo is super heavy, carrying more than many rounds would be cumbersome.

Single shot .22LR bolt action FTW
