Johnson Valley (The Hammers) needs your help

Hey, this is a message I received and felt we can all help out,

Pirate4x4.com has started a letter campaign for Johnson Valley and the Hammers.

PLEASE take five minutes to use the letter generator and send out a letter to help save this area that is so vital to the OHV community. The Hammer trail system is the Mecca for OHV users. For us to lose this area would be like golf losing Augusta, or baseball losing Wrigley Field.

The letter generator can be found at:

www.pirate4x4.com/letters

I would also appreciate it if you pass this information along to as many people as possible.

Thanks

Iceman

Is this popping back up? I thought we did this 6-8 months ago.

I believe that was for the initial talks, the USMC was thinking of going East instead of taking over the Hammers, but then changed back again. So we need to try to block it again.

In about 4 or 5 weeks we will need to send in letters regarding Tellico. Letters take about 5 minutes to complete, so not a bad waste of time.

I agree. Just trying to confirm if this was old news or not.
