Default Winchester Model 94AE w/ Simmons 4 x 40 (SOLD)

Winchester 30-30 model 94ae-angle eject

I have owned this for at least 23 years, great shape, maybe a box of shells through it...

Has iron sight scope mounts.

Not sure what it's worth, see them without scopes for $300ish...
Would like closer to $400.
Not really looking for any trades at this time.
thanks,
Chris

can you get me pictures of how the scope is mounted? I've only saw side mounted scopes on these.

If I had to guess, I'd say 1985, got it new when I was 14. Have not used it in probally 18 years.

Scope mounts on top. Also has an extension on the hammer.

Some Model 94's are top eject and do require a side mounted scope, this is angle eject so it allows for a scope to be mounted on top. But I do believe it has to have the see through scope mounts(which this one does) to get the proper clearance.

Fixed it for ya. I have a 94 that I want to mount a scope on. Weaver has a kit but it side mounts the scope in a position that would seem uncomfortable for the user. This is ultimately a different design so I was just curious how the rear scope ring was held on because it looks like its mounted to the slide.

No, actually, it was already correct. If you check his first post it says 94ae angle eject. Shell is ejected on an angle. Therefore you can mount the scope to the top!

Kinda sorta, but not really. The shell may eject at an angle but the gun is still top eject like a standard 94. Right now though, we're just arguing over someone else's post (and giving him free bumps). So lets stop this now so we don't clutter his thread.
