Default flex plate double check?

I just want to make sure a 76 302 c4 flex plate is 28.2 oz imbalance and can be used on a 95 351w? Pretty sure but don't want to f' it up

i want to say no it will not work, the newer engines used the higher weight, 56 ounces i think. you can get flywheels now that are the smaller tooth count in different weights.

who did something stupid like this?

My research found that only the 302/5.0 went to the 50 oz around the early 80's. And the 351 stayed with the 28.2 imbalance. But wanted to double check.

I had the original 351 flex plate but the torque converter bolt pattern was different than the e40d pattern. they are the same tooth count also.

It is in now but it will be awhile before it is ran.

Only the H.O.s had the 50oz in the '80s. I'm not sure when or if they changed them all. I do know that I have had trouble finding the right balance flywheel for a Windsor before.

They never changed the balance weight on 351W's just the 302/5.0
