I can understand when someone does something like that to an old beater, but not a nice car. How did the owner stop you? Its in public you can take pics if you wnat, unless they drove away.

Take a look at the license plate.

Basically they were doing a road test of the new model, the paint is just to confuse people a bit. But mostly they don't want pics being leaked to Road and Track and the such. The other day I was driving behind one of the new F-150's along 94, that one was red but with the manufacturer plates. Come to think of it, they do alot of test drives up and down 131 as well, but those cars always seem to have the additional body panel covers on them.

I think it does. It looks like the front end is much more agressive. like the headlights are more narrow in height. Not sure about the back end though.

It's not new, it's a refresh of the existing platform. Not a bad one, either.

I imagine there will be some new powertrain options because of the new Camaro. The base V6 in the Camaro puts out the same HP as the current GT. Let's not mention torque here, because there's more in the GT over the Camaro V^, but it seems like sports car buyers look at HP numbers.

Mustang.
Challenger.
Camaro.

We have muscle cars from the "big three" again!

Except for the whole "affordable" thing that was part of the original muscle car era.

thats because there is actually technology and safety features in new ones. (and more weight )

Plus their biggest target audience is probably 55 year old men who owned the originals
