Considering going this weekend, depends on wether i have to work or not and if i have the funds to go this weekend. Sure I or at least someone will be able to pull you out. Mounds should be relatively busy this weekend, but it will probably depend on the weather i guess...

I wish I could. I'd be careful with those 2wd trucks. The Ranger shouldn't be to hard to pull, but a F150 is a lot of dead weight to try to yank out. I'd stay out of the woods for sure, with those two, but the stuff out in the open can be got to by all the BDMTs, and they can get you out.

Enjoy yourselves! And I'll get out there one of these days with you acidsurfr. I'd like to see that big red truck plowin through some mud.

Sounds good to me...just PM me when you might be going to Mounds or anywhere else and we can try and get a group together.

So let me understand this. You are going out there with a bunch of 2wd trucks KNOWING you are going to get stuck and HOPING someone will pull you out?

Just googled Zeeland to see where abouts you're at....bit of a drive for you. You're much closer to Silver Lake, i'ld rather go there but too long of a drive for a 1 day thing for me and i don't have a free "weekend" for a while to head all the way there to camp and wheel. Probably won't make it back out there till next spring. You are welcome to meet us at the Mounds if you are up for the drive.

Can get one from most places. There is a gas station near the Mounds that actually sells them. I'm sure someone on here can tell you where. I purchased mine at a local hardware store that sells them. Needed my drivers license and $16.25.
You can also check here.... http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7...8458--,00.html According to this any participating/ licensed orv dealer should be able to sell you one.
You may even be able to get one from a local Meijer in the sporting goods section or Gander Mountain..places like that are licensed in order to sell hunting and fishing licenses.

Check on here...this is the local list of agents from the DNR website for Oakland county.

http://www.michigandnr.com/licenseag...sp?countyid=63

There are both a KMart and a Meijer listed here for Farminton Hills

i'm thinking my girlfriend and I are going on sunday. We'll be keeping an eye out for your truck acidsurfr. I drive a yellow suzuki samurai. It's small, only 3" lift and 29" tires. Not sure what top I'll have on it yet, probably a bikini and clear glass back.
