At my place of employment we have to take a drug test prior to being fully hired in. If you have an accident at work and hurt yourself or cause some sort of major damage you are required to take a drug test.

My job title is Assistant Chemist

I do maintenance on assembly equipment, had to do pre-employment screen only. I'd have no problem with testing so long as marijuana was legalized. I don't see the problem with smoking weed but I don't want to work with crackheads either (which I swear I do).

only upon hire 2.5 years ago, and I have been in 3 different departments - Beaumont Hospital, Nursing Assistant.

oh- and Ive even had a work injury, and never got tested!

I think they should random drug test- a few nurses I know really enjoy those doobies!

My employer is so cheap,are porter cut himself while cutting boxes needed five stiches.So instead of filing a workmans comp claim they paid the ready care cash.

whats wrong with that? i did the same thing in august, smashed the end of my finger off, my uncle paid it with cash instead of filing a comp claim. it was like 1100 dollars total, pretty cheap for the good job they did.
