Default wheel backspacing

I have a 84 ranger with dana35 TTB and 9" lift. Im running 33's and i want the tires to stick out as much as possible for stability but i dont want to be eating wheel bearings left and right. Id like to run 15x10's since my tires are 12.50 wide, but what backspacing would be good? I was thinking maybe somewhere close to 3"? Post pics if you have something useful or if anybody can help me out then reply!

I ran 15x10's with 35s on my '88 Ranger. It was still a d28 but that thing ate wheel bearings about every 5000 miles. I think they were 3.75" backspace.

It seems that 3.75" spacing is the norm for 15x10 wheels..i think this is what im going to run. Anybody else?

I have a 4" backspacing on my rims. 33x12.50 with a 15x10" rim.

I know you've seen my rig in person.

*edit, whoops, got things backwards...

You might be able to go 3.25", going 3" or less would likely annoy the bearings far too heavily. The wrong backspacing on Rangers is very unforgiving.

i like 10" wide, keeps the tire surface flatter to the ground and less sidewall buldge. Im not concerned about the tires falling off the bead, i never air down that much.
