Default Silver Lake

Can anyone help me find trails to run my jeep, other than the dunes? Around Mears and Hart?

Head into Manistee Natl. Forest. I hit the Dunes Sat. and was in the Forest in less than 1 hour. Right through Hart on east in. I went up 160th north and just kept turning. The Gazetter is pretty accurate as to whats where.

You wont be dissapointed. Manistee is huge, with alot of fireroads and unrestricted trails. Some are quite narrow, and Ive got the pinstriping to prove it. I would take some loppers and a handsaw with you. Alot of leaners and you can tell, at least where I was, the trails havent been run in awhile.

a section of 5 mile rd in comstock has a big sign that says "Road impassable" when it drops down to a seasonal 2 track, I hear that can be pretty fun if you have the equipment. About an hour from the dunes.

Big rapids if you feel like makin the drive, You can take the 7 mile two track to Woodville, which can be interesting in the winter and then theres a bunch of state land around it that has miles upon miles of tracks

Default Fun Place

2 years ago we went to a nice place in Hart that was on a guy property he opens to people. We read about it on Great Lake. It was a lot of fun. I have a few photos at that place I'll add for you to see.

All5ofus,

I think that is the Hart off-road park. Fullsize4life is one of the people to contact about it.
