motor mounts, headers, and an oil pan for the 4x4s. I know the pre 93s you had to do a lil fire wall beating for the distrubtor.

It's a pretty simple conversion. You'll have to move the motor mounts and re-drill the cross member. There's a ton of after market parts to make it a snap.

350 turbo. That way you can find a factory shaft that will work.

what engine/trans was in it stock? i've got a 350 in my 95. it came with a 4.3 and 5 speed. the 350 was a direct bolt in. used all stock accessories, radiator, trans. the engine sits in stock location and did not require firewall bashing. i made my own hard mounts by taking the 4.3 frame side mounts, switching sides and bolting them down. then i bolted the block mounts to them. the only other change is i used a mechanical reverse rotation flex fan with no spacer bolted to the water pump. trucks runs at 180 all day unless i'm idling in traffic then it'll see 210. i plan on getting a small electric fan to assist with that.

Some of those mounts cause the engine to sit too far forward making certain header combos not fit between the starter and frame/engine crossmember. If you need any pics let me know. I have an '86 and my neighbor has a '97-8 with a 406.
