after smashing a headlight and cracking the headerpanel and moving my fenders with hard objects, I decided some protection in the front was in order. got bored and this is what I came up with.

where can you get those?? that looks like a winner. I usually just wear a beanie with my hood, but that would give way better protection when burning cages in and any over head work

Here a link for a good deal.

Or you can check with your local fire department and see if they have any old ones.

So after running with the front grill hoop and stinger and everything else out front......I am not liking all the weight and the terrible approach angle. It worked great on trails in the woods, but on steep decents and climbs, it was a hinderance. So time for another nose job.......and losing the fenders for something tubular................We will see what I come up with.

I am gonna reuse the stinger, but everything is moving back like 8"s. It will require mounting my winch higher, which I don't like, but it is the only way I feel I can get what I want.

worked great, taking it to Eastlake in Hopkins over Memorial weekend with the family.

On a sidenote, the truck with camper hooked to the trailer with the jeep loaded scaled out at 14,100lbs
