Default ***SOLD*** 4L60e with Dana 300 adapter $500, also 4.3MPFI V6...

SOLD

This is a 1999 4L60e, with a Novak Dana 300 adapter on it.

Was given a basic rebuild when the adapter was installed in it. Adapter is brand new. If it matters to you, it came from a suburban with a 350. This is a 6 bolt hex style.

The Dana 300 adapter is clockable, I believe there are 3 or 4 options from a stock angle up to flat.

Note, these later 4L60e's are shorter than earlier ones, so would fit well in a SWB Jeep. Same length as a TH350/D300, actually.

$500 Firm. Will not sell the adapter separately (because it would require the trans to be disassembled!!)

This is less than the price of adpater alone.

Would consider partial or full trades for Wagoneer axles (passenger drop) or 36-38" swampers in good shape.

Also have a 1999 4.3 Vortec V6 with more or less all the parts (needs a water pump), for $300. Around 150k miles, IIRC. The pair would match well in a Jeep.

Here's pics of the trans:

Bolts to a stock 300.

As for the receipts, no, I bought it as is from another member of this board who was parting out an incomplete project.

Couldn't you also bolt up a 231 J or D to it with that adapter as well ? I think you can but not 100% sure...

I've already got a 465/300 in the Jeep. Not really anything I need in trade.

I still have the trans, though, yes.

of the trans + adapter?

24.6"

Note that a TH350 with adapter is 24.8", so it isn't any longer for the much better first gear and 30% overdrive.
