My point here is that inflation has driven our costs up, if 4200 was enough 10 years ago, we need a LOT more now.
10 years ago I paid for my healthcare, I still pay for my healthcare, my fuel, my food, my home ect.

I'm not interested in socialism, and the eventual segway into communism.

If you want Insurance but you can't afford it, tough.

If you want a 6000 square foot house but can't afford it, tough.

If you want Lobster every night but can't afford it, tough.

If you want a H-1 but can't afford it or the fuel, tough.

You can't live beyond your means and expect someone else to pick up the slack.

Our entire Government as well as our Judicial system needs to be gutted and rebuilt on American principles, not socialism and communism.

Yes... She did what she had to do to stop the conservative base from calling her to leave the ticket.

For Joe it was much harder for him and he did what he needed to do. It is not in Obama’s favor to keep comparing Palin to Obama.

The Dems want to compare Palin to Biden. Joe wins that comparison in my book but she easily cleared the very low bar that she had to. Joe did what he had to do but just barely. The whole set up in the media was such that Palin wins if she does not screw it up like the CBS interview.

The best that Joe could do was a narrow win.

If he mopped the floor with her, like I wish he had there easily could be a backlash like when Gore so easily beat Bush in 2000 but Gore looked like an ass while doing it and therefore cost him votes in a very close election.

If he was too smart and too mean he is a condescending ass

If he were too nice he would be patronizing ass

Too long-winded and he looks like an out of touch beltway insider.

If he reached out to her and tweaked her boob, (like I might have) then he would have been sexist.

For the Dems a tie was the best they could hope for and I think it was close and last night did not change the race.

For Reps… they got what they needed. For most sheeple watching, the thought of her being the VP is no longer a scary nightmare. That is what they needed.

I was just chatting with my boss about this. He made this comment; Our forefathers left England because of an out of control taxing government. We're turning into a modern day version of old England.

My point was that his plan will cost us MORE than we are currently paying and I dont like it. There has to be something better.

And I agree with the above quoted statements.

X2 McCain wants to tax health care dollars. No matter how you cut it, health care has a pretty high cost because going to the hospital is expensive. This leaves 2 avenues; Middle class pays more for health care due to taxing health care costs, or they opt. to take the $5,000 and have to pay another $5,000 for health care for their family but the company they work for will save a few grand for not paying for thay employees health care. This means that this big business will come out on top while the middle class is getting screwed. Seems kind of messed up to me.

Also, look to see what the professional analysististstsst have to say

Try to pay for food when that big buisness goes under and you don't have a job.

Since when does a company owe you medical insurance.

what cracks me up about obama's ad bashing mccain healthcare. "that $5,000s that mccain will give you will go directly to insurance companies" really, no shit. it's going to go to whatever insurance company you choose. free market the bitch and let market competition lower the price.

Right.
If they just gave you $5k for health care, people will spend the money on cars, guns and women (I would) and still have no health care. That is why it is give as a tax credit. You get reimbursed for it up to $5k.

HSA=Health Savings Account.

premiums and wasteful abuse of the current insurance system has brought up HSA's so to vastly lower the premiums of employers with patient accountability by having them pay a preset amount of medical expenses. each year you would have to pay an amount. all the proposals I have seen are $1500 single $2500 family and $1000 married couple/per person.

each of the plans covers 100% after the patient or family has paid the predetermined amount first. if you don't use the amount it just rolls over to the next year. there are good and bad points to it. those who have management diseases will benefit greatly from it as it will take very little time to spend the money. those who don't have any issues will suffer as basically have to pay for everything out of pocket unless hospitalized for something major.

I am not really for them as it is just a band-aid to temporarily delay the explosion of the failed medical care issues. employers could reap the savings and not pay employees more to compensate and people will struggle and/or go without treatment for the simple reason is many simply will not have the money.

i feel it is nothing more than a High deductible plan that allows you to roll over unspent money.
