its my 1978 suzuki gs400. got it for $50 totally stock and ended up fuckin with it and havent had time to get it right yet but shouldnt be long.

yea its a problem so far. there are a couple others. the intake was changed to two cone filters and the exhaust was opend up quite a bit so it runs really lean but im gonna mess with the needle adjustment and see if i can richen it up so it will run without the choke on! ill rejet once i can find jets to fit it but they dont make a rejet kit for this particular bike. i wanna get some whitewalls and eventually hardtail the bike but my concern now is just makin it rideable.

That looks sweet except for the mirror
for rejetting just drill out the main jet in very small increments until it is rich enough, or just get jets for whatever kind of carb it has, probably a mikuni or keihin. But it really looks like a fun bike.

i dunno what jets will fit. ive looked into jet kits for a 550 of the same year and model and what not but not sure if they will fit.

My very first street bike was a '77 gs400. I don't think I would have gone the route you have taken with the bike but who cares what I think, do what you enjoy.

all the lights work!


Thanks to curt workin on it while i was at work i was able to ride it yesturday in the rain/snow for about 15 miles or so.
