It starts from the Moose in Harrison, which for me is not a huge expense in gas over the samo trip to Baldwin area. I believe it may be a club, but I've chatted with em prev on threads and at the Blessing. They are starting a thread too. These guys wheel a lot, being from the area and not having to blow most of a tank to get off pavement.

Maybe everyone's waiting for an "official" color tour on west side up at Twisted Trails or similar, but I'm way ready to go up nort'.

I'm with you Chuck, I'm itchin to get up to the north country soon myself. I had plans to head up to Baldwin over the 11th and 12th but could be talked into going farther if necessary. Birthday weekend I need to get out somewhere
I have never been on any trails in the northern lower north of Grayling. Maybe up around Vanderbilt or Indian River?

well i could go to baldwin or harrison (assuming the one just north of clare). i was thinking maybe the mounds or whatever. i could always do silver lake - but i'm from there and i go too many times.. so looking for something different. what is the moose run like? mud, sand, just plain 2 tracks? just wondering

my wife and i are going to drummond island on the 17th... anyone else?

anyone interested in a color tour at the park and surrounding areas dale is working on a route it will start at the park at 9:30 a.m. so be there at 9:00 a.m. there is no fee for this unless you just want to stay at the park then park rates apply

I'm from GR, and although I'm new to this sport, I'm always looking for something to do...I will be going to the Badlands on the 18th an event, supposedly 40+ Jeeps are gonna be there as of right now.....this coming weekend I'm gonna be in Newaygo and around Grant with the GF's family, but I might do some trail riding/seasonal roads, check out the scenery kinda thing...anyone gonna be in that area???

I suspect the Harrison area trails are similar, just new scenery and destinations for us.
Foamer is getting something together for the west side(fall color trail ride thread).

I don't know about the rest, but I'm getting too familiar with my usual destinations and wanted to strike out somewhere new.

I'm open, just need sanctuary from metropolis I think

Default Mind making this official?

I am seriously considering this one. Only a few hours drive from Oxford. I'd really like to learn the trails in this area because I pass thru here a few times each summer. We should make a serious effort to record the trails on our GPS's and I'd help collect and combine the data afterward.

This ride should be posted as it's own topic - with a link to the sponsoring group's forum.
