Default 79 malibu wagon 4 speed for sale

just got the car about a week ago my wife tells me tonight her work is closing there doors so car has to go

4 speed 350 runs great pretty sweet ride

If it's the original trans, it's either the Saginaw light duty or the Borg-Warner. Those 4-speeds won't take too much abuse. I've had quite a few of those cars, mostly 4-speeds. Watch out for frame rot from above the rear axle to the rear bumper. If it's got a solid frame, it might be a fun car.

no ideal on what trans no one has much info on these sense there were very few produced i will try and find out for u
motor is stock but runs great car will lay rubber into second with 4 buddys in the car lol
i raced a neon srt4 and smoked it all that i can say to estimate horse power

Real race cars have tail gates. I want to build a bracket car and this one would be sweet for it, but it just doesn't have enough "freak value" for me. I want a V8 Yugo or Metro. Bump for a cool ride.

If I didn't have my Ranger, I'd pick it up for a bracket racer. A 454 fits nicely in it, and with a good Muncie trans, you could dip into the 10's. That's what my last Malibu did anyway.

yea my last one with stock 454 crate mtr and 6 speed went 1090s with slicks
was pretty fun ride guy bought it down in fl
