Pushin 50, not senile yet, and can't really back either one yet.

Honestly, this is the toughest election I've seen.

Oh, and I wasn't attacking, you asked what I thought of Obama saying 'gunna' and apparently you mis-read my response.

steveo on the other hand, is just wet behind the ears.

They both failed, but did so equally and with honor. Obama is a smooth talking lawyer, and he did what he did best. He talks shit with nothing to back it up.

McCain is a weather and tested warrior. His honor has been tested and proved. If he make a mistake, it's because he was wrong, not because he intends to deceive.

McCain needs some new cliche's. We heard the pen line too many times. Every fucking speech. Hire a writer, have a couple of drinks talking about the issues, find another way to tell the story.

Palin is still the wild card. Biden is no slouch.
I hope they talk about some real issues that seperate the two. Like gun control, AWB, energy policies, conservation for the masses instead of preservation for the few. But in the end, I think she will get pounded.

At least with the Palin/Biden debate we can chuckle every time she says "drill" or "tapped".

By what I read I think it's 11 or 12.

If your pushing 50 you will have to learn to disregard 95% of what you read.

try to imagine your talking to you kids friends. LOL

Never said you AREN'T intelligent, just inexperienced.

I've worked with many young guys like you, 'Not having kids until I can afford them, Not getting married until I meet the perfect woman' etc.
Too many times they end up in a bad marriage or paying child support because of a one-night stand, or a 'Whoops!' moment....

Yes, I am not the greatest looking guy in the world, and my wife is by no means Miss America. But we work well as a team, have been through times that would have split up less committed couples, and raised 3 children who also aren't perfect, but are doing their best. Given both of our pasts, we're just happy none of our kids are in prison or dead.

If somebody is mature enough and intelligent enough to speak their mind, then who gives a damn if they are 20 or 60. I know just as many immature people over 40 who couldn’t hold an intelligent conversation about politics (or anything for that matter) to save their lives….but there are just as many young people in that boat. There are stupid people in every age group.

I’m 24 by the way.

Unfortunately, my oldest is 24 so that's more true than you think.

I find it interesting how much the politics topics mirror the current election- young and inexperienced vs old and out of touch.

And yes, I am out of touch on quite a bit.

Especially video games and music.

wayyy out of touch. just because a person is younger than you, you assume they are inexperienced. I bet i have much more life experience at 23 than you did.

Don't bet more than you can afford to loose.
