I just thought I would post this because it is argued about quite often.

In the scientific community (as myself) for manuscripts to carry any weight they must be presented in a peer-review journal. In other words, the manuscript has to undergo scrutiny by a board of reviewers who are experts in the field before publication. This does not appear to be the case in this article. Do you have any peer review references of this caliper to support the assertation?

I didn't take time to read the whole thing but it from what I did read it sounds like he starts with a conclusion and sets out to prove it, rather than studying the data and seeing where it leads him. Any smart person armed with lots in information can find a way to "prove" their point of view. It doesn't make it true.
