Default Grand Opening Weekend Of May 16th

We Have a date for a Grand opening weekend. It will be the weekend of May 16th. With the early snow the parking lot and a office as not able to be done this fall. With a early spring work can start again. We will have runs before but are planning a Grand opening for may. Logo and flier to be posted in a few days. Web page still being built. I have a few more plans for trails that I wasnt able to get done before the snow and will get to them as soon as possible.

Snow runs may continue if you think you can get around with the wet heavy snow. It settled from 2 feet plus to 2 feet -. and slippery underneath

Feb 7th a meet and play snow run at the park. $20 donation per rig for the day. Meet in the south end parking of Snow Snake Ski Lodge at 10;00 am and leave out to park at 11;00. Loso and few others should be along to guide people around. I maybe able to get away from work for a bit. Please leave a post if coming for a count. The sno is deep and crusty even ere it has been wheeled already. RP

1ooo folds more towards the crawling and hill climbs. our mud areas are woodland low spots and marshes. With snow much is hidden and the steep stuff is near impossible but with some effort and a winch doable.

the big valleys gonna be a bitch with the snow, as the guys from trenton found out last weekend, but they got out after a lil work, if we broke trail getting down, we could def get back out.

We also have the annual SS trail ride that day that starts on the park and they head out to state land trails on their way up to elbow lake and where ever. If you want to follow that group you can and come back to the park later or stay at the park.
