Default Will you support Michigan's Proposal 1?

For the medical mary-jane.

If it passes, do you think it will become like California's system, with "crooked" doctors prescribing it for pretty much anything? "Hey doc, I get really hungover from drinking too much, and the only way to cure it is with a doobie." "Here's your script."

No Sandals option, he don't live here no mo'.

in a country where you can buy pills to make your hair grow, pills to make your penis harder and longer, pills to make your ass less fat, pills to make you happy, pills to make you pay attention, its just silly to think you cant smoke a little herbal cure all.

Look at how much money we're dumping into the prison system to keep people in jail for possession of weed.

Look at how many lives are destroyed...Jobs lost...

Heck, look at how much money is wasted on commercials!!!

I don't smoke, and I will not smoke if it's legalized. The main claim against the legalization is that everyone will become druggies...and that's just stupid.

Let it buuuurrrrnnnnn.

Well I don't know how much this particular bill would affect the majority of the population - unless it turns into the California situation I referenced earlier where all you have to do is get a RX to sign off on it.

What it will do, I think, is lead towards a gradual decriminalization and more widespread acceptance of the drug, which is why a lot of people will vote against it. I'm one of those guys who says, smoke it once, and then tell me why it's illegal. *shrug*

I don't smoke weed, but tax it and sell it. The revenue created will be much more useful than the money spent to fight it. You never hear about people beating their wives after smoking pot. Alcohol is can be much more devastating.

People may argue that people are going to drive around high...well, people do it already.

I don't partake anymore, but it should be just as legal (and taxed) as cigs and alcohol

I would support it. My mom has M.S. (she doesn't use marijuana). She has to give herself a shot everyday in a different spot everyday just to be able to function. If it would help her then I'm all for it.

Until it is legalized federaly it doesn't really matter. But ideally sure legalize that and prostitution. Tax the hell out of it, regulate the hell out of it.
Then use the hell out of it!!:bdr 2:
but until then dont cry when the man busts your balls for having a joint in the truck or a couple of plants behind the old barn!

I have never tried any illegal drug. I don't care. personally I feel that all the drugs should be legalized. crack, coke, weed, heroin. all of it. in fact I also feel the government should give the addicts all they want. let them O.D. problem solved. if your going to do it. you'll do it whether it's legal or not.

Agreed. It would cut our spending on the "War of Drugs" and increase tax revenues. Regulate it just like alcohol as you suggest.
