if I ran across a 4L80E for a decient price I would consider letting go of the K case 700 I have.

You might want list the details of your 4L60e.

Early 4L60es have a 4 bolt 700R4-style output flange
Later ones have the 6 bolt hex shaped flange
Later on, they moved to PWM controlled clutches that aren't compatible with non PWM controllers...
Even later ones have different length inputs/bellhousings when they went to Gen III motors

lets say it looks enough like a 700r4 that spro thought it was a 700r4

its at tranny toms house now, I'll have him fill in the gaps.. thanks for the heads up

Its an early 93-94 non pwm model.

CC didn't pp say that the original seller would swap it?
