FF/Police: New Siren

Well not new, but louder then our medium duty ambulance.

But just a wee curious how to hook it up, since I think it predates me and enters my dad's FF days.

It is a MG (?) SS-86 Two Tone Siren. It has 3 wires, Red for yelp, White for Com (?) and yellow for Steady. How can I hook this up without a siren controller (guessing it just uses a switch by its age) to a standard 12V acc switch?

i hav never hooked up a set w/o a box.try hookin it up with quick disconects out side the truck untill you get what you want then rout the same setup into the truck. if the siren draws enough a relay might be in order. i dont know how much an old unit like that would draw.
