Default Skooter did something good today

At about 2:45pm today the UPS guy dropped off a gift for me. I got home to find my new Warn 9.5si winch. After picking the heavy box up, I proceded to move it and the Jeep inside the garage. The install went farely easy, the only difficulty i ran into was I had to remove my Hella Ralllye 4000 HID lights, i have to find a new place to mount the ballast box's. After that i took it outside to strech the cable, only to discover it was snowing. I just got done about 20 minutes ago, and now its time to go to class. Pictures will come later tonight, if i can get a card reader. tonight

For a guy who wears thongs, you are pretty mechanical..

And your jeep is starting to be pretty cool

how does wearing a different style of apparel equate to how well a person can wrench?

I think maybe having a string in your crack motivates a person to accomplish things at a rate greater than normal. Kinda like a person on uppers without the side effects.

nope didnt have to remove the bumper if just slid into place, i scratched the paint in 1 small little spot, but other than that, it was extremly easy.

Like just about everything on my Jeep, i bought it off Ebay. Everywhere i looked online, the cheapest price for this same exact winch was $1250 or more. This 1 is brand new, not rebuilt/remanufactured, never out of the box, I payed $830, and that included shipping. I dont make enough money to shop at offroad shops, and by buying off ebay ive saved thousands.

I work hard, have no living expenses, no debts, and NO GIRLFRIEND
I also strip, it works very well for me, not sure if you would get payed much though.

I bought it from some guy or his wife, never can tell cause they were selling a crap load of weird nicknacks and the such. You have to watch ebay extremly close, cause while others are selling this same winch for about $1500, so no matter what i scored big time on this deal. The si is farely new, here some more info on it...
Warn Industries has taken MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect-Transistor) technology and put it to work for serious off-roaders.

The 9.5si MOSFET control module eliminates the solenoid pack and its electro-mechanical functions. Operating temperatures from -40F to +180F won't faze it. Voltage drop to the winch is minimal for more efficient operation and low heat gain.

With it's extreme sealing system and the 12.5 lb aluminum die-cast body, the 9.5si is the winch for the really serious user who requires the ultimate in reliability, durability and control.
